Employment, Training and Workforce Participation

Meaningful employment creates opportunities for individuals, families and communities to thrive. At Centacare FNQ, we work alongside migrant communities to build pathways to employment, education and long-term economic participation through our award-winning Employment & Training programs.

We provide personalised support to help individuals build confidence, develop skills, access training opportunities and secure sustainable employment. From job readiness and career planning to mentoring and workplace support, our services are designed to help people achieve their goals and participate fully in community life.

We also work closely with employers, schools and organisations to strengthen workforce participation and create more inclusive workplaces. Through professional development, training and practical resources, we help organisations improve cultural capability, attract diverse talent and deliver accessible, culturally responsive services.

Our support extends to multicultural entrepreneurs and business owners through the Multicultural Business Network, which creates opportunities for connection, collaboration and business growth across Far North Queensland.

By bringing together individuals, employers, businesses and community partners, we help create stronger pathways to employment and a more inclusive and connected community
