Southern Resilience Project visits Guru Nanak Sikh Mission Temple Gordonvale

  11 February, 2021  ·    Andrea Obeyesekere

Centacare FNQ ‘s Southern Resilience Project was warmly welcomed again at the Guru Nanak Sikh Mission Temple Gordonvale, at their Community Morning last month.

This is Centacare FNQ’s fourth Community visit to the Temple where we are able to share our work and learn from the community about their rich history in the region. As always a wonderful meal was shared with our friends and our Community Engagement Workers and Employment & Training Workers were able to link the community to some of the programs and opportunities that were of interest to them.

Centacare FNQ really values this relationship with the community and we look forward to welcoming some of the ladies to our Southside Multicultural Women’s Group which starts this Friday the 12th of February 2021.

For more information on the work of the Southern Resilience Project please contact Levaai Rea, Project Lead, Centacare FNQ by calling 07 4242 1058 or by email to [email protected].
